Capture pilot
I'm having problems with capture pilot, I'm using CO 7.1 - 64bit shooting tethered with a Canon 1ds Mark 3. Pilot is set to mobile and web and I have set the permissions to rate images, tag colour, adjust images and capture images. I have set up a local network using a mifi device and the images are appearing on my iPad but it will not allow me to fire the camera from the software.
Any suggestions to what might be the problem.
Thanks

First check: do you have the Camera Control in-app purchase of Capture Pilot installed on your iPad? 0 -
Yes I have it installed. I has worked previously only recently its stopped allowing me to shoot tethered. 0 -
Are you able to control the camera from Capture One > Camera Controls tool?
The assumption is that if it works in Capture One, it should work in Capture Pilot.
Have you checked you are up-to-date with both?
You could stop Capture Pilot (not close but shut down with the double-press Home button trick) and restart it (or restart your iPad). That can help too.0 -
Yes, I can control the camera from capture one and I can see the session on the Ipad. It will allow me to rate the files and I can see the exposure settings but the I can trigger the camera. I've tried resetting both the laptop and the Ipad with no change. 0 -

Be aware that with CO7 you can use the Capture Pilot feature from any browser allowing non-Apple devices to share the fun. Regard this as the Android route.0
