Canon G9?

Hi, I use Capture One 4 with my Canon 5D, but have just bought the Canon G9, as a carry around compact, which I chose because it takes RAW files. But by the look of it, Capture One doesn't support this camera, can anyone confirm this please.
I realise Zoom Browser comes with the camera, but I don't really want to have to use this. Any suggestions?

    Have you looked at the release notes? They state that the G9 is supported.

    Have read somewhere that it is supported, and read elsewhere that only the pro version supports it. ❓
    According to the release notes, it does, but it doesn't seem to recognise my card.
    Well, if I shoot some in jpeg, others in RAW, it shows the jpeg, but not the RAW shots. ☹️

    Canon G9 raw support was added in the CO 4.0.1 maintenance release. Maybe you still have the 4.0 release running on your computer?

    No, I have what the Phase One people have confirmed as the latest version, 4.0.14162 etc I have exchanged a few e-mails with them, and I think I have them foxed! They have had me delete a few files etc, but all to no avail so far. They want me to upload a file for them to look at, but have heard nothing back from them today, perhaps they don't work weekends! 😄
    I have just reformatted the card, just in case, nothing. I use Faststone Image Viewer just to have a quick, initial look, and that sees it fine, no problem. I have tried downloading to my computer, and then open it from there, but it's exactly the same.

    4.0.14162 is the initial release, a.k.a 4 or 4.0 and DOES NOT support the G9

    4.0.1.14900 is the first maintenance and current release and DOES support the G9

    Sorry to hear the PO support increased your confusion. Go to

    download and install the latest version. You will feel much better after you did that.

    Thanks Paul. Yes, they misled me there. I gave them the number of the version I had, and they came back with the following.

    That is the latest version so I am suprised. Do you mind uploading the RAW file to the following ftp site?

    Anyway, thanks to you, I have now downloaded the "latest" version, and as you predicted, I'm feeling better already! 😄 It's working fine.
