Capture One 11 wouldn't launch after Windows 10 April update
Just in case anyone else is having problems with Capture One 11 failing to launch after the Windows 10 April 2018 update, I was able to fix it by:
- Pressing <Windows key>- X
- Picking "Apps and Features" from the menu
- Typing "C++ 2017" into the "Search this list" box
- Picking the "Microsoft Visual C++ 2017 Redistributable (x64)"
- Clicking Modify
- Clicking "Repair" in the "Modify Setup" window
An uninstall / reinstall didn't fix it, because the C++ code doesn't seem to get uninstalled along with Capture One.
** I'm not a Windows expert or a Capture One expert, but it seems to have fixed it for me. Try at your own risk. 👿

Works here (2 Computers with Win 10 Pro 1803) without any issues. But I'm using 11.0.1 not 11.1.0 -
Interestingly I never had issues of missing VC/.NET libraries with Capture One. 0
