    Hey guys,

when I import a session into my catalog with the "import session"-function, the subfolders in the Output-Folder are ignored. It would only import developed files which are in the Output folder.
As I use tokens to generate subfolders which reflect the used recipes, this is a very bad behaviour.

Is this a bug or a feature of this function?

Have you already asked Technical Support about this? (By creating a Support Case.)

I'm wondering if there may be some more general import bug in 11.1.1. I've reported what seems to be a bug to Phase One support—although my use is with a catalogue and not sessions.

I import to a Temp folder (which is part of the folders I have included within the Capture One catalogue), process my photos there and then drag the processed photos to a year folder (e.g., 2018). Ever since upgrading to 11.1.1 (from 11.00, as I was unable to use 11.1 because of the duplicate folders bug in that version) when I import my imported photos are visible only in recent imports (notwithstanding the fact they reside in the Temp folder on my local SSD—where I can see them using Finder) and never display in the Temp folder (which simply declares, when highlighted, "No images in Collection").

I'm not saying this is the same bug but it's interesting there appears to be another problem related to import in 11.1.1.

Are the Output subfolders marked as Favorites? If not, the session doesn't "know" about them and they won't be imported into the catalog. You can easily batch-add folders to Favorites from Finder via dragging and dropping into the Favorites section of the Library tool.

That would make sense, I will try and see if this helps. Wonder if the import session function should check for subfolders in the output and Capture folder as a default setting, would make sense as many photographers I work with use them.
Will write back as soon as I tried the favourites solution.

I agree, a checkbox to include subfolders on the Import Session dialog box would be welcome.

This caught me out a few times until I was advised similarly to add as Favorites.
