From lightroom to Capture one :What should i do with all xmp
Hi, i moved from lightroom to Capture one. To do so i decided not to import catalog but more or less start from scratch. Good opportunity culling and selecting properly again. So i imported only the RAW and my top images developed in lightroom and converted in Tiff ( i will later develop on Capture one).
So my question is can i remove all the xmp file i have everywhere as i understand that by default Capture one do not use XMP .
Thanks

Capture One can actually read and even write XMP files. Take a look at the Preferences -> Image (Metadata Section).
When importing RAW files into Capture One, it could read the metadata from XMP files so that you could get at least your categories, ratings and keywords, for example.0 -
