Lost files
Lost files:
I am a novice Capture One user so please excuse my ineptitude in using the software.
I shot a job and realized after finishing that I had created the folder for the job within another folder. I also wanted to rename the folder the captured images were in. Thinking I could just move the main folder to the desk top, rename the folder with the captured images and put just it back into Capture One and I would be OK. No images appear now. I never trashed or deleted anything, but I now have no files. I ran a search through Spotllight on my Mac with no luck.
I went back and renamed folder to the orginal name and remade it a subfolder of the folder it was created under. Still no luck. Images are all gone.
Any suggestions any one can give for finding the files would be greatly appreciated.
I am running a Mac (PowerPC)G5/OS10.4.10
Capture One V 3.7.7

Hi Joe,
Have you done a search using spotlight to find the files by name? The session files use the full path so if you rename a job folder or move the folder it messes up the session file. Try this. After naming the folder the name you want and moving it to the location you want go create a new session. Set the path to the location of the folder and the session name to the name of the folder. C1 will make a new session file but it will not over write the existing folders, Captures, Processed etc.
Good Luck,
Mark0
