What platform are you on and where are the files stored?

I've seen this truncation happen on Windows with long path names and/or long filenames.

I'm using Windows 10 and the images (as is the files for Media Pro SE) stored on an internal HDD.

I have an SSD for Windows and applications and two other internal HDD's for all other files.

In the mean time I've deleted this Media Pro SE file and am in the process of creating a new one, more slowly this time as I would suspect that attempting to load all of my images at once was too much for it.

    Thanks anyway... 😊

Yeah I've also seen in rare circumstances iView MediaPro (Media Pro's grandfather) choke when handling tasks of over 1 000 items. So you may be right about importing in stages.

I'm importing in stages, just one year of images at a time.

I'm still getting the following problems...

    1) Media Pro not picking up all of the images that have colour tags and star ratings hat I had created in Capture One.

    2) Media Pro not showing all of the keywords that I had created in Capture One.

I have (for instance) a photo shoot on a certain day where a lot of the images are showing colour tags and star ratings but others aren't even though they have all been treated the same way in Capture One.
