changing white balance in local adjustments

Hello

I'm looking for changes to the white balance in the local adjustments. I saw this is working for many people and I also wanted to use it for my pictures but it seems not working with me (C1 8.2). I made a mask and even if I change the White balance it always changes it for the entire picture but not for the mask. Maybe I selected the wrong white balance tool.

Please help me

  If you look at the local adjustments tab, it will have a white balance tool in it and you can use that. Alternatively, if you are using the WB tool on the Colour tab, you might have to click the ... on the white balance tool and make sure that "Adjust selected layer" is activated.
