Import dialog box doesn't show thumbnails
Hi all,
I've had this problem with Mavericks and now Yosemite (on a 2010 MacBook Pro). I've used Aperture and Lightroom for years but am moving back to COP 8 after a few years away. Sometimes, when I import photos from the internal hard drive, the import dialog box won't show the thumbnails properly. Sometimes it shows all of them, sometimes a few of them, sometimes none. The attached screen shot shows what I'm talking about [wait, now I don't see how I can attach a screen shot to this. hmmmm.] There's a blank dotted-line square but no thumbnail in it. This has happened for a year or more. I've opened a tech-support case, but I wonder if anyone knows an easy solution. This has never happened with Aperture or Lightroom. Thank you!

Anyone else coming across this, the issue for the OP is due to unsupported ICC profiles embedded in the iPhone JPEG files for import.
Please ensure your files are RGB as this is required for RAW conversion software.0
