White balance and Viewer
I like to do astrophotography and am seeing two issues in the white balance
there does not appear to be a daylight WB option
Also I use dual screen with viewer on the second screen. If the viewer window is full size the the WB view is wrong. You click on your target. There is a flash of the image with the WB you want and then it changes to a corrupted version
If I set the viewer to non full screen so that it defaults to the size it wants then the image at 'fits' is too red. At 17% zoom it is how I expect. At 25% zoom most of the colour goes at 33% it goes green and stays like that up the zoom levels.
Is there something I can alter on this present version to fix this or is it awaiting a bug fix upgrade?
Also the problem is that it saves the file wrong even if the view is set to 17%...It looks more like the 25% zoom image
hoping for your help
cheers

I can't tell you exactly what is going on with your system other than you need to explore other causes before assuming Capture One has a bug. For confirmation, try reading the color numbers in a solid color area. Use the Hand tool and observe the numbers at the top of the image preview. I suspect that the readout will be identical on both screens regardless of the appearance onscreen. If not, you have some coherent information to send PhaseOne support. Otherwise, you are dealing with system errors they can only guess at....there are thousands of different systems in use in the PC world, a blessing and a curse.
You don't say...but if you're using dual monitors, are one or both calibrated? Is your video card driver current? The viewer in Capture One (or any image editing program such as Photoshop) depends on that fact for WYSIWYG editing.
If this is too elementary, I apologise. If, however, it's news to you...that's the purpose of this user-to-user forum...so keep posting with more details.0
