Pink areas on capture one main window

    As an experiment have you tried disabling OpenCL processing? (Assuming it is enabled to start with.)

    Does that make any difference?

    Apparently, dark blue is shown as pink. Ideas: over exposed indicator is on? Wrong ICC profile?

    Open CL is disabled - I will check though.

    The exposure indicator is off.
    Which ICC profile are you talking about? The monitor one?

    I forgot to tell that the example I show is a JPEG file.
    (it happens for all RAW files also)

    Does anyone know how to reinitialize all C1 settings from the computer, including registry database and so on, to make my computer as C1 was never installed on it?
    I would like to test a "clean state" installation...

    For what it's worth I have never, ever, done that other than on a new machine and have never had the sort of problems that you are seeking to analyse or anything remotely similar that relates to an installation problem.

    That's not to say it would not work for you but ...

    dont know if this can help but I had similar problems a while ago.
    The display-error disappeard when I changed the "image preview size" to the same as my screen-resolution so that may be something to try.

    Hello,

    I am quite sure it is because of color management. I think you assing a color profile twice because you are working on a Jpeg file.
    Check in presentation tool that "treatment" is selected, and could you try "without color" in the treatment tool.

    I made a test today, changing my monitor profile in windows parameters.

    My monitor is calibrated with hardware calibration (with Dell tool and an Xrite i1), and the profile is then set as a default profile in windows.

    I tried several calibrations before chosing the one I wanted: sRGB, Adobe RGB and "native" (which is the choice I made).
    If I set "sRGB", "Adobe RGB" as a default profile -> no pink areas.
    If I choose the "native" profile -> pink areas everywhere

    I think that C1 can't read correctly the monitor profile that was created by the Dell calibration tool...

    Hi,
    No problem with C1 but with the display profile, if you select in the "presentation"/"proof profile" the display profile it is evident that you will meet your problem.
    Never choose the display profile in the "proof profile".
    You can soft proof with this part in selecting the icc profile for paper.
    You can check consequences when you change the space color (sRVB, ProstarRVB, Prophoto....).
    But never use he display profile.

    I never said I chose the monitor profile in Capture One.
    I talked about "Microsoft Windows" color management preferences, and that is mandatory to have a correct color management.

    If it's my color management... I don't know what's wrong with it.

    As I use hardware calibration, the only parameter in windows preference is to set the monitor profile.
    I think there are 2 possibilities:

    1) There is a bug in the profile that I made with "Dell UltraSharp Color Calibration Solution".
    Other color managed software being not affected by this bug.

    2) There is a bug in Capture One color management with some very specific monitor profiles.

    I'll try making a new calibration this weekend, hoping that there was a bug with the first one.
    Anyway... C1 is currently unusable on my computer for now.

    Don't know how my profile was corrupted, but it was (they reproduced the problem with Apple Preview).
