Suitable got tethering?
I have a option to buy a Lenovo Miix 700 at a good price, but will it be suitable for the tethered capture work using C1 version 10 pro for Sony ?

Minimum I look for when selecting a laptop is i5 CPU and dedicated graphics 0 -
Hard to say but I think it's fine. If possible, test before committing.
The screen would probably demand more rendering power than available for smooth operation, but that Core m3 platform is quite robust, so my guess is it will be usable.
Minimum requirements are there for a reason, but you can wiggle most.0 -

In my lack of experience, dedicated GPU on a laptop is a nightmare. Power draw, heat output, bulk, MTBF, etc. I would only look forward to it in a quality workstation grade machine (aka not apple laptops).
The current Intel APUs are right on the money imo. On an i5/i7 it's more than enough for laptop use. (no experience with CO)0
