    bella,
The Adobe RGB profile does show 2x don't know why , but no worries, just set one.
The choice to set Perceptual and Best for rendering intent is Mac Only.

Please review this informative Forum thread on Color Management:

Re: Working on B&W image separately

Choice is to Tag and Group Tagged to work on OR to use the Move To folder option.

1 - Create New Session tab > Collection pulldown > Assign as Move To

2 – if you want images to be within the Session, Using Browse – you can create a Subfolder with icon above FileTree.
This will create a New Session Tab and this can be assigned as the Move To folder

    > Thumbnails can be sent to Move To Folder as a batch or one at a time using the Backspace key.

Once all images you want to process to B&W are together in own folder,
setting the camera profile to B&W changes all as you know... but it won't matter.

**version 4.0 will allow you to set B&W on an individual image basis 😂

    Thanks Keith.

We have just done a test on some images.

    #Canon RAW file

    Camera Product: Canon 1DS MkiII
    Camera : Canon 1DS MKII
    Output: Adobe 98
    Web Dest.: sRGB
    Proof Destination : Adobe 98
    Monitor Profile: As last dated.

Once processed to jpeg we are now getting the following (there is also no EXIF data showing in the preview panel)

    Camera Product: Phase One lightphase
    Camera:Phase One H10- 11M Product Flash
    Output: Adobe 98
    Web Dest.: sRGB
    Proof Dest.: Adobe 98
    Monitor Profile: as per dated.

This is from viewing the jpeg in CO.

I'm sure this is somthing fundamental which we are not checking, but the difference in what we put in the oven to what we get out is totally totally different. Help!

    Thanks

    Bella,

When you see Color Management settings to :
    Camera Product: Phase One lightphase
    Camera:Phase One H10- 11M Product Flash

This means you do not have a RAW image file selected.

While Capture One can Browse JPEG images with Preference setting to do so,
No File editing or adjusting is possible at all.
No meta data will show for a JPEG in Capture One.

The processed JPEGs will however contain meta data and have the set color profile embedded into image. This can be confirmed in Photoshop.

    Regards,

Ok I understand that Keith. But why when we select the jpeg in CO it comes up with the different specs to the RAW file?

    Bella,

When you select a JPEG, it will show :

    Camera Product: Phase One lightphase
    Camera:Phase One H10- 11M Product Flash

Select the RAW image file and it will show the correct Camera Product and Camera Profile.

Capture One essentially Ignores JPEG files, it only displays them.

    Hi Bella and KC,

Just wanted to let you know the reason two Adobe 1998 profile show up is basically because there are 2 profile files present in the Color folder - Adobe RGB(1998).icm and AdobeRGB 1998.icc. Both are the same as KC mentioned.

    Cheers,
    Rajib
