re-linking collections
During a shoot I store my images on a portable hard drive. Later I mirror that to a desktop volume. During the editing process I create a series of collections. If i switch the drive being used for image storage I can connect C1 to the mirror drive by clicking on the locate menu for the disconnected folder. That will restore the connection between Capture One and the storage drive. Unfortunately the images in collections remain linked to the initial Hard drives.
Am i doing something wrong or is there a way to reconnect the images in a collection to the mirrored external drive. The collections are an essential editing tool for me.
Tp summarize: when I substitute a mirrored external drive for the original I can reconnect the Capture One catalog to the new drive, but it doesn't connect the new drive and images it contains to the mirror/ That means the collections I have created all read image off line even though the catalog has been linked to the replacement hard drive.

Collections, like Albums and Smart Albums, are a property of the catalog, not the image. Only moving images to another system and relocate them does not help.
From your description, which was quite hard to understand, I assume you did not move the catalog. Am I wrong?0
