Local adjustments brush opacity

One of the main goals of opacity in the layer is to allow variable application of a single adjustment within one layer. If you need more or less opacity you can use the erase tool at a low opacity level to remove some of the existing opacity.

Thanks Jon for the reply and your method is a great work around if a little unscientific. 😉

Would be nice to have a value to each opacity that can easily be repeated in the future when I've long forgotten how many times I brushed over with the eraser at 10%. I would also love to see the global colour temperature/tint slider added to the local adjustments for when shooting in mixed lighting as my brain works better with kelvin values rather than in the colour editor.

    Hello ,
I would like to let you know, on my system this brush used to work well in 6 ,now on 7 it works erratically, sometimes it does what it is supposed to do..and sometimes the whole image gets the treatment I want the masked area to have.... and the program crashes in doing so...
I have had about 7 crashes this morning.. with various issues! ( I have been Using capture one for a few years now-love it!)

The Secret: Adjust Selected Layer setting for the tool (it is ON for the tools on the Local Adjustments tool tab, and OFF by default on other tool tabs). See the little brush sign in the tool's title bar as indicator.
