Viewing thumbnails with crops
Hi, New CP1 user, still getting to grips with it - (previous Aperture user and tried Photos but the constant plug-in management drove me batty!) - so here I am. I'm finding it easy to work with but one thing I can't easily seem to do - If I am in browser view I see the thumbnails in the main window but I see the crops - I want a Lightbox view - I can select multi view viewer but it only displays a few of the selected images - am I missing something. I have tried the export to web contact sheet which I like to do near the end of the project, but I am looking for a view of thumbnails in the main window with no crop masks to mar the view!
Thanks for you help in advance!

Hi Ian,
You can adjust and even make disappearing the crop masks in the browser by going to "Preferences" tab 'crop'.
Or maybe I misunderstood your question?

Hi Robert,
Thanks for that, yes it does diminish or eliminate cropping mask, but in turn this makes it hard (for me at any rate) to crop when I'm editing - unless the solution is to keep switching it ? I was looking for a viewer like the primary window where I could just see all the thumbnails without the crop mask. In aperture for example it was a default view, you saw the crop mask on Edith g not in the browser or main viewer. Does that make sense?
Thanks for your pointers.

I just submitted this as a feature request. It's super distracting to see the area outside of the crop. We should be able to disable that and toggle it on and off.
