Running C1 8 on a MacBook Air?

Currently, I'm running C1 v8.01 on a 15" MacBook Pro Retina with i7 processor, 8G RAM and 512G SSD. I would like to lessen my travel load by using a 13" MacBook Air with i5 processor, 4G RAM, and 128 SSD. I believe my C1 license allows me to run it on 2 machines, so I could put a copy on the MacBook Air as well.

My 15" MacBook Pro runs just fine. Would the slower MacBook Air be able to run C1 8? Mainly for when I am traveling?

I would use an external disk for storage so I can reference files on both machines. Seems like a great way to go mobile, if it indeed runs OK...

Hi John,

Any chance you can upgrade RAM to 8 GB? Seems to be the only bottleneck I think. Otherwise you would be fine.

running C1pro 8 on Macbook air with 8gb ram. runs great. i take it everywhere and even tether to the MBA. very satisfied.

only problem with the above suggestion is that MBA can not be upgraded.
