Edit with variant with modification

Hi,

I make adjustment with CO and i want juste add border with Perfect Photo Suite 9. My problem is when a use Edit with ... or Open with CO send a tiff version of the original file without my adjustment. Same problem with Google Nik or any other external editor.

Any way (without export variant and after modification import file) to send to external editor the variant with adjustment ?

  Here on my Mac,
  
  Open With > PS
  opens the underlying RAW file in PS
  
  Edit With...
  . Basic Tab
  .. Open With PS
  opens the adjusted variant in PS, imports back into CO after saving in PS
