Overwrite images during processing
If Capture One processes allready existing Images it generates a copy of them. Is there a setting which let C1 overwrite existing images instead of making copies?

There is no setting for that. People often ask that here, though many of us prefer it the way it is.

Yes, absolutely.
But often, overwriting files is exactly what is required.
Having to manually remove images in a numbered sequence in order to avoid C1's automatic renaming is very tedious.
It clearly should be an option as to which behaviour is desired. The overwriting mode could come with a warning dialogue (which one should be able to permanently suppress, if so desired).
