Is there any way ...
If someone is processing a large number of photos and needs to stop in the middle, is there any way to see, from the C1 display, which photos have and which ones have not been adjusted when you start adjusting again?
I know someone can write down the last photo adjusted but, if for some reason someone has to skip forward, adjust some photos and then wishes to skip back to start where he or she left off, is there any way to tell which ones were adjusted? Dxo marked each adjusted photo with a check mark. Lightroom also marks each adjusted photo as it is adjusted. I assume there is also something in C1 that tells users which photos were adjusted and which ones were not, but I don't see it.
Thanks.

the thumbnails have an icon after you ingest and make an adjustment. 0 -

I assume you mean import.
I have been working with sessions rather than a catalog. I watched the thumbnails carefully when I made an initial adjustment and did not see anything on the thumbnail to indicate that it had been adjusted. Can you be more specific? What kind of icon? Where on the thumbnail?
When I compare the thumbnails of two images, one with an adjustment and one without, I cannot see any difference so I assume I do not know what to look for.

I see an icon in the lower right corner of the thumbnails in the browser for images I've adjusted. 0 -

Bottom right corner of the preview image. A small square with 3 horizontal lines is what I would expect to see.
If you are viewing the browser in List mode the status column holds the symbol.
What sort of edit changes have you made?
Can you post a screen shot?

I did see that icon, but all of the photos I imported into the Session contain the square with the 3 lines and that icon appeared even before I adjusted the first image.
In this case I am working on my wife's photos from a recent trip. She has two cameras and one of them, a Nikon, shoots only in jpg and that is what I am working on now.
I can certainly post a screen shot but, as I say, all of the photos contain that icon. I will import some raw images into another session to see if that icon appears on those as well before they are adjusted.
UPDATED:
I loaded new raw images into the session and, as with the jpgs, the raw images showed the same icon before anything was adjusted. I took some screen shots but don't see any way to upload them to this posting.0 -
Maybe they are being imported with a style or preset applied? 0 -

Ah. Perhaps. I don't think I have done so, but that would explain everything. Thanks. I will look into that and see what I can find.

Just looked. I have set no styles for import but the default setting has the Auto Adjust checkbox already checked. Perhaps that is the reason all the images are marked with the "adjusted" icon. I will uncheck it and see if that makes any difference.
Since I did not set anything in the import window myself it never occurred to me that all of the images might be adjusted upon import. Thanks.

That is what is happening. I unchecked the Auto Adjust and now the imported images no longer show the icon.
Thank you, everyone, for your help. No day is truly wasted if you learn something new. Or so I am told.0
