Where's my metadata
We use several copies of C1 over various tethered shooting stations. After we enter metadata into our raw file and archive it off to a server(not as an EIP but our native .Mos from our Leaf DB) the metadata is gone. Once the file is disassociated from the session folder do we lose all metadata? Is there some setting I haven't checked or is that just a flaw of C1?
Thanks,
Robert

It is by design. Metadata you entered with Capture One is stored in adjacent setting file (one file for each image file). When you process your image file to a RGB file, the metadata is applied like other adjustments. 0 -
That works fine for our processed files but for raw files placed into our asset management system we lose all the information that we manually entered? That's a shame. 0 -
As far as I know, currently only Phase One's Media Pro is able to show you Capture One's adjustments in its catalogue.
If it is only metadata you're concerned about, and your asset management program can read XMP files, you can have Capture One write metadata to the XMP file as well.0 -

It's following CO prime directive of not altering the original raw files.0
