Using the free update for 4.0

I am at the point off buying C1 LE. However with version 4.0 coming I am deciding where to buy C1 now or to wait for 4.0.
Therefore some questions, Will version 4.0 come soon? And can you use the 1 free update (with men get when buying C1 LE) for the update 3.7.4 to 4.0 or do you have to take the first update from purchase. So when there is a update 3.7.4 to 3.7.5 do I have to take it or can I just ignore it to wait for the 4.0 update.
I really like to have styles with are now for apple only so version 4.0 would be great.

  No Official Date for release of version 4.0 has been Issued other than it is due 4th Q of 2006 ...so look to end of the year.
  
  There will not likely be any versions beyond 3.7.4 for Windows LE prior to 4.0
  
  Yes, buying now and UpGrading to 4.0 will use your LE's 1 Free Upgrade.
  Beyond this, an UpGrade is $29 EUR
  
  Styles is a Feature of Mac PRO version that will likely make it to Windows PRO version only and not LE.

  Okay, petty the styles aren't with the LE version but I think I still can live with LE very well.
