Full screen arrows

In Full Screen Mode, there are Previous/Next < image > arrows on left and right side of image. Is there a way to hide these so that all our eyes focus on is the image itself?

    I don't think that's what they are. They should bring up the tools or the browser (depending on which side you are on). To get rid of them, while you are in full-screen mode go to the View menu (by hovering at the top of the screen to make the menu appear) and select both Browser manual mode, and Tools manual mode. (You can then use Cmd-T or Cmd-B to make the tools or browser visible when you want them.)
