C1 and Adobe DNG converter files

I have C1 LE 3.7 supplied with new Leica M8 digital camera; certainly outperforms Photoshop cs2 in some areas on the Leica raw .dng files, BUT:

1. although it recognizes nef files from Nikon D200 and raw files from Fuji S3, C1 seems not to recognize Leica .raw files from DLUX 3 or 2 cameras, and more important, will not recognize .dng files created via Adobe DNG converter 3.6 (even created from the above readable raw files), so this is not a work-around;

2. would consider upgrade to C1 Pro, but only if would definitely process Adobe dng files

-- or is there some way to activate C1 LE to recognize Adobe .dng files?

Advice appreciated...

  Current Leica Models supported are: Digital Module R for R8 and R9 cameras, M8
  The Digilux 3 will be supported in upgrade version 3.7.7
  
  Full DNG support will arrive with version Upgrade 4.0 due later this year.

  Hello,
  I've finally gotten C1 and now I discover that after converting my Leica DNG files to 'new' DNGs so that iView can make large previews, C1 refuses to see the DNG files. When is this gonna be taken care of?

  Full DNG support will arrive in version UpGrade 4.0 due later this year.
  Capture One LE should arrive first followed by PRO and DB.

  Thanks for the news about the impending DNG support. Is it safe to assume that PhaseOne will send out some sort of e-notification when the update is released?

  It will be announced at the web site when available.
  Email of RAW News would announce as well.
  Lastly, the Check for Updates... in Capture One will search for availability too.
