Watermark not appearing on final export
Hi
Currently reviewing CaptureOne Pro 11 as part of the free 30 day trial with a strong view to moving from Lightroom.
I am a hobbyist so this is a big financial outlay and I currently have a problem with watermarking.
I have googled, looked at Forums and can't find a resolution to my problem so am having to ask you as without a license key I can't log a support call.
The few opportunities I have rely on me being able to watermark my images, whilst I can add them and clearly see them in the image, for some reason I am unable to get them to appear in the final exported jpg/tiff.
The Process Recipe includes the watermark I have tried both Text and Image, both appear in the image and can be succesfully positioned scaled etc whilst the images is being edited but when I export the image (as a Variant), the final image does not include the Watermark.
I have tried exporting as both JPG and Tiff with no luck I can also confirm that I Select one of the default JPEG process recipes for the JPGs exports and the TIFF recipe for the TIFF export
Please advise as I really need this to work.
Thanks in advance
Nigel

Use the Process option rather than Export.
In the Process you can choose whether or not to display the Watermark.
In Export, a feature really intended to produce files to be sent onwards for further editing, the watermark is not included as usually it would not be appropriate.

Hi Nigel,
There are two ways to get images out of CO:
Export:
- Originals: copies raw images with or without adjustment sidecars or
- Variants: creates one of the possible image formats.
Process:
- processes the image(s) according to the selected process recipe(s)
'Export' is used to create files for external processing/retouching programs. There's no watermark in the export settings and it doesn't use the 'process recipes'.
'Process' is used to create 'final' output files. I uses all enabled process recipes when processing.
What you need is 'process', not 'export'.
