As far as I know, when you open a session, C1 does open at the image you were on when you closed that session last time.

    Hi,
Am I the only one who would like the following:?

    1. I would like to be able to set a default sort in Prefences. I like my thumbnails sorted by date. Every directory defaults to sorting by name.
    2. In Library I would like to cut and paste the directory address. Find directory in Windows explorer, Copy Address, open CapOne Library and Paste address of directory to open.
    3. When opening a session CapOne should open on the last image processed.

    Simple, I'm sure, to implement.

    Paul,

By "Directory" do you mean folder? Or something else?

    1. Fine but is it so difficult to switch the order on the browser?

Have you considered including the date in the name of the file - either on import or, if you don't do imports, by batch renaming?

    2. If you are using Windows explorer to find the folder why not use the Library's explorer function?

Do you make selected folders favourites?

If so you can copy a folder location (using Windows explorer to find the folder) then Add a New Favourite and paste the copied folder path into that.

If you want to copy the contents of the folder to a new Capture One related folder you can also drag and drop directly onto C1.

    3. Each session I open (assuming it has closed cleanly and not been crashed by a power failure or similar at a critical point) starts with the last status of the session before it was closed. I can only think of a few rare exceptions to that always after something odd happened to the machine. Firefox froze and killed the thing or Windows Explorer froze during some non C1 related activity usually.

Beyond those observations .... if you wish to make a formal proposal to the C1 development team the official way is to create a Support Request and mark is as an Enhancement Request in the title.

    HTH.
