12.1 Update. No more guides in the Pro version. Updated

The Grids have been enhanced, but the helpful adjustable orange guides have been removed. It appears they are only available in the Studio version. My stylists and I will miss them.

My mistake, they're still there. They're now found under the View menu.

It's still there but hidden !!!
I had add a bunch of tools back into the tool bar - Guides was one of them - it's also now moved to View menu.
However the colors are now constrained to a preset set of 4 color's and Black and White - Phase One if you are going to go to the effort of adding functionality why don't you do the job properly instead of removing part of the old tool at the same time.
I'm suggesting a real custom color picker choice for the guides on a per guide basis as well as arbitrary rotation and a selection of draw styles / weight's etc !0 -
They have split up grid/guides into two different things. You can now turn them on sepperate. Which is great.
You have to add the new icon to the tool bar.
You can set keyboard shortcuts for each of them.
And the grid has a floating window for quickly changing color/layout, etc. Very hand.
I just wished the guides would also have a quick tool to manage them.0 -

The behaviour of Guides appears to have changed too.
Before 12.1
Custom Guidelines would follow in all of my sessions.
Now in 12.1
Custom Guidelines set in session, when opening new sessions guidelines are reset to default positions.
With the 12.1 behaviour I need now need to set these lines up for **every** session from scratch. This is rather frustrating, overall the features being enhanced is great but this will now impact my productivity.0 -

I'm coming late to this discussion topic but I couldn't agree more with you Jason! I'm an e-com photographer and used to use my fixed guides across all sessions to maintain crop consistency. I questioned CO tech support and they refuse to admit that the feature has been removed from the pro versions to make it something exclusive to CO studio! I've been made to feel like I was imagining it used to be a feature! Extremely frustrating. 😡0
