Maverics
Im running 3 machines in my studio, a macbook pro and Mac Pro on 10.8 and a new Mac mini on 10.9.
All three machines are now on C1 7.2
The 2x machines on 10.8 will tether to cameras (Leaf Aptuses)
the Mac Mini on 10.9 will not tether for love nor money. It will however open sessions moved over from the other machines and work just fine. The FW800 port on the Mini operates a card reader and a Drobo, just not the camera...
Are there any known issues with Mavericks and tethering? Do I need to downgrade to snow leopard, might this solve my problem?
Any help would be greatly appreciated
Neil

No there are not.
I'd suggest you create a support case and provide software Logs and a System Profile.0 -
I'm finding Mavericks the most stable OS I've used for tethering.
I can even switch my EOS1dx off and on without having to restart the computer!0 -

Have you tried a 15' cable for the leaf? Are you using a 30'? Have you tried a powered FW800 repeater when used with the mini?0
