CF cards not working after formating with 5D

Hi

I´ve been having problemes using a CF card in a P25+ back after using it in a canon 5D MarkII . the camera just goes crazy "error " + "lens Error " .


does any know how to reformat the card after using it with the 5D appart from using the format card in the phase one back ?

    I assume you tried to format the CF card with the P25+ back, but to no avail. Alternatively, you could format the card with you computer and card reader, followed by formatting it in the P25+ back.

    If you are formatting on your computer it is best to do a Partition THEN an Erase.
    Partition the card as a single volume in the "Master Boot" format, then erase and format as you normally would.

    Not to forget that formatting should be done in FAT 32…
