Capture One 5 incorrect dates

    Is it a Phase One Back? Check to see if the date is set correctly on your back.

    No, it is a Leica M9. Although it does the same with my Canon G11. And I download directly from the card to the program.

    The Metadata is embedded from your camera. Unless there is a read issue in Capture One the date can be adjusted in Camera to correct this date. If there is an issue with the software we would need a RAW file to verify, please create a support case.

    Hi Drew,
    It is not the camera, as it does the same with any camera that I use. The date is always the same, and it makes no difference if I upload using Bridge, or directly from the card or camera. Any file that enters C1 defaults to a date in 1970. I have also uninstalled and reinstalled the program completely, but to no avail. I have registered a case, but any further help would be appreciated.

    Les,
    As someone created a support case, having the same issue, we are now looking into a possible discrepancy between the EXIF data of certain firmware versions of specific cameras. We hope to definitively identify this data change and account for it in a future release.
