Metadata text box sizing/customization

Hey there,

Does anyone know a way to resize metadata input windows? As part of my job I generally need to write long captions/descriptions, and the single line provided isn't really enough to see the entire message when it's not being typed. Is there an option to always stretch the text box so as the entire contents are visible at a glance? Furthermore, I'd love to know if there's a way to optimize the metadata window so as to only show the fields with information in - in my case, copyright, rights status, description, etc?

I recognize this is a specific use case, but surely others are inputting metadata and finding that the input fields and text boxes are pretty cramped and fiddly.

  If you float the metadata tool you can stretch it to full screen if you need to. This will make the text fields longer and if the entries wrap they will go to multi-line.
  
  Bear in mind that it is likely that many and probably most people with heavy requirements for metadata entry will probably already be using specialist tools intended for rapid culling and metadata entry - something like Photo Mechanic perhaps - and so the level of demand for enhancements to functionality in C1 could be low compared to applying the resource to other aspects of image editing.
  
  For consistent base fills - Copyright and similar one would assume - you can create a "style" that can be applied to to all selected images in a number of ways although one obvious option is to apply it in import. Once set as a default style for import it will happen automatically unless you change something.
  
  For selective fields the metadata tool groups are set up to replicate the IPTC field groups and so the best you can do is expend or contract the groups.
  
  However you can have multiple version of the tool open at the same time, each with a different section expanded.
  
  And the tools could be floating to provide the required field size.
  
  And you could create a Workspace specifically for the Metadata activity to give you instant access to the multiple tools expanded to the sections you require.
  
  Just a few ideas to start with.
