Slideshow Movie Poor Quality

When we create a Slideshow Movie, the colors are muted, and tonality is lost. The overall quality is lost. Even over compensating in Photoshop, still results in the same weak results. Every tick I could think of, like changing the color profile, did not help. Quicktime and VLC Viewer show the same video quality loss.

I emailed Customer Service, no suggestion. Anyone out here experience this, and have a solution? I am pretty sure it's an old problem. Even creating a WebGallery has similar issues, not sure if they are related.
