Style Behavior
Hello,
Have had my head into creating some custom styles for my workflow and have run into a few challenges.
1,Can an "Autocorrect" be included in a style
2,When an image has a style applied that has been adjusted behaves uniquely.
Select an image, apply a style, make a slight exposure adjustment. In the STYLES AND PRESETS panel, under "Applied" will show the style (Adjusted) Selecting another style will ADD to the adjusted Style rather than replace like it does to a non-adjusted style. Is this the intended behavior?
I apply a default style on import and then go through and make subtle adjustments. Once everything is balanced then I wan to apply specialized styles. The above behavior means I have to reset and discard any minor adjustments I might have made.
Am I understanding this behavior correctly?
Thanks for the guidance
Troy

Hey Troy-
1) No, however if you select all the images and select Auto Adjust, they will be adjusted individually. If you Auto-Adjust one image and copy/apply to the other files, the adjustments will be the same across all the files.
2) This is the intended behavior as long as you have Stack Styles enabled. I'd suggest making the minor adjustments after the second style has been applied as it will be more refined given the workflow that you'd described earlier.
Maybe I'm not understanding correctly, but why do you have to reset prior to adding any prior specialized styles?0 -
Thanks for the reply.....

I should have mentioned that "Stacked Styles" is not selected during this issue.
Realizing I should maybe record this issue to better show how it happen, I have revealed a variation in the behavior. If I apply a BW style to an image then hover of what is a color style, the preview shows BW as if effects would be stacked. If I then select the Color style the image is in fact adopting the correct color style. This makes it hard to change styles because the preview is not accurate. It seems only to happen from BW to COLOR.
Here is a link to the screen capture. Not sure I was able to explain myself well enough.
