Issues with sorting images with Capture One Pro 8.2.1
Hi,
I have submitted a support case a few days back but Phase One support is still investigating the issue. Does any one else have this strange behaviour with Capture One Pro 8.2.1:
--
I am running the most recent version of CaptureOne Pro8 and the most recent version of Mac OS X Yosemite and I am aware of the token issue. What I am having problems after the upgrade is that if I create a session and load in images from two different cameras (Nikon D4s and Nikon D810) that are synchronized in date and time I am no longer able to sort by date.
--
I can confirm that the issue is the same on my MacPro where I have not yet updated Maxc OS X Yosemite to the latest release.
I can not sort images by date with two cameras that are in sync with date and time.

Peter,
When you say you cannot sort do you mean the system just won't sort at all by date or that the system sorts but seems to get the wrong result?

Hi Grant,
it appears that the sorting is not working at all.
Here's an example to illustrate the current situation. D810 and D4s are named as the different cameras and the date is April 30th 2015. I uploaded all images through Capture One and clicked on sort by date.
D810_1.NEF 5:10AM
D810_2.NEF 5:30AM
D810_3.NEF 2:45PM
D4s_1.NEF 5:15AM
D4s_2.NEF 5:45AM
D4s_3.NEF 1:15PM
It used to be that sorting by date sorted the images like this:
D810_1.NEF 5:10AM
D4s_1.NEF 5:15AM
D810_2.NEF 5:30AM
D4s_2.NEF 5:45AM
D4s_3.NEF 1:15PM
D810_3.NEF 2:45PM

OK, now I am completely lost. I tried to see how other RAW converters like Adobe Bridge and Lightroom would address my issue and they both show the exact same behavior like Capture One. None of my images taken with two different cameras during a shooting session could be sorted by date or date created. 0 -
And now I consider myself "stupid"...
Date (Day and Month) as well as time were correct but one camera is set to year 2015 and the other one to 2014.
Boy, boy, boy....
Guys, take back a big laugh on me.0 -

Great you have sorted this out

You asked for it:

Reminds me of the time I shot airplanes and wondered why i could have more than 36 pictures on the film and why I could rewind it so easy. Appeared I did not load the film correct. 🤭0
