CAPTURE PILOT - IPHONE BUGGY
While I like the idea of Capture Pilot, it's completely buggy and useless on my end. I can connect to the server from my iPhone over my Airport wireless network, but unable to scroll or enlarge the images. Eventually, I loose my connection: "Server Unavailable. Connection error". Sometimes I can re-connect, other times I'm completely disconnected from the Airport wireless network.

OK, I thought I may be the only one having issues.
My questions are, is Pilot only available through 3G connects? If not then my wi-fi networks do not show for available servers.
My next would be, if it is available through private wi-fi networks, what is wrong that it does not show?
I think it could be a great tool, but I can't say for sure unless I can try it out.

have a look; ->topic: capture pilot config

That's nice, but the app is not giving me the opportunity as per the video to even set up to the wi-fi network. All it says is no available servers, when the router is within line of sight, and other apps are having no problem accessing it. 0 -
Did you start the server on C1?

I had the same issue until I went into my iPhone settings and turned the autolock from 1min to never. After that everything worked perfectly, even through multiple reinforced concrete and brick walls up to 150' away.
Here's a article that I used to help with the configuration process
Finally! An answer that helped! Now able to use it and I like it. Thanks again. 😊0 -
Hmmm..... set the auto lock to "NEVER" and it seems much better now. Thank you. 0 -
Can you tell me what issues you had with Capture Pilot that was solved by removing the auto-lock? 0 -
Many of the problems of capture pilot will be fixed simply by deleting and reinstalling capture pilot on the Iphone. Takes about 30 seconds. 0 -

See initial post; it pretty much solve all the problems with maintaining a connection to the server and the ability to scroll and zoom.0
