can't delete images from catalogue

    First you have to set your scope correctly before you start deleting.

    In the Library tool, select the All Images collection, not an Album. This will allow you to remove the images from the catalog.

    ok, thank you! In this case it is kind of a workaround. It would be cool if I could delete the files directly without viewing the whole collection.

    I thought, that I can delete the images directly. If I remember well, this works while shooting thetered.

    Hi,

    It is not meant to be a workaround. In fact it is by design. But to extend your options, you can select ANY collection except Albums to remove an image from the catalog.

    An Album contains pointers or links to images in the catalog. An image can be linked into multiple Albums. With the Album selected, you remove that link, not the image. That is intentional. You need to able to remove Album links.

    Of course you do not have to remove the image from the Album(s) first. You can directly remove the image from the catalog (and the Album) after you selected the proper collection.
