Three crashes and counting
Well, I'm at 3 crashes and counting.
So far, they appear to have different causes, though I have not tried to reproduce them yet.
1 was while playing with hierarchical key words, 2 when moving files from one folder to another and communicating with CO 6.
My biggest gripe - the catalog reopens as "read only" locked and must be resaved.
As an aside, it seems to process slower than does EM2, though once the database is fully updated, the search and displays times are quite quick

When I first started using the program, I got 3 crashes in a row -- as noted above
Subsequently, I think I know why I crashed --
The program was/is running slow, especially when I imported a catalog with 37k photos. I got impatient, and started to "look around", clicking on various key words, folders, photos, etc while it was working. Bad decision, as I crashed (locked up).
I have now been using it for 3 days without an issue - as long as I wait a bit until it stops "analyzing things". I have imported a few hundred photos at a time into this catalog from CO 6.2 without an issue, and as long as I am patient I have had no issues. I believe there was even more activity in the background when I first loaded a large catalog, and I should have waited until it got everything in place.
Bottom line - in Windows at least, it doesn't stack up commands very well.
This should improve as the code is optimized.0
