Spot Removal instructions flaky!
Hoorah, they listen! Spot removal tool.
Trouble is, the instructions for use are sketchy to say the least. I tried to remove a small (like dust spot small) bird on a lake but it didn't fly away!
I'm obviously missing something (like where's the drop down list come from), I'm used to LR2s system where you choose the spot, then choose a place to clone from. How does it work in C1Pro?
And if you make a mistake, how do you delete the cursor marks?

Got it. right click/CTRL click in an area of the menu board and select SPOT TOOL and nestle it with your favourite controls. Oddly, only dust appears, not spot on the drop down, where s that Phase 1?

The "dust" removal apparently is working only on uniform backgrounds (like sky) and applies only to soft spots (like dust on the sensor). mor like the healing brush in Photoshop... there must be quite an uniform background behind the spots you are going to remove. It works very well with dust spots in sky but it doesn't work at all with e.g. sharp white dotsAnd if you make a mistake, how do you delete the cursor marks?
In the tool the spots you create are numbered - with the arrows in the tool you select the spots you like to change or delete... if you grab the spots off center you can move them. You also can change the size of the spots.
As this tool is aimed at removing sensor spots you can copy/apply the settings to other images as well.0 -
to remove the curser marks, just click the " - " button top right of the tab 0
