    Hello

Yes it does. You specify this in the processing tab.

When converting files to JPGs, does the color space get attached to the file? If not, how can I do this in CaptureOne LE

    Yes.
Color Management Options -> set a working space and set a color space for "web destination".
I'd advise to set sRGB as web destination color space.
In the process tab you can choose from the pulldown menu:
    - embed camera profile
    - convert to destination
    - convert to web destination
As JPGs are always 8bit data they should be converted to sRGB - and if you set the options like noted above the sRGB profile will be attached when you select "convert to web destination" (if you select "convert to destination" your working space will be attached - but again: 8bit Data and any other color space than sRGB match as good as tuxedo and rubber boots).
    Best Regards.

Thanks, but I am confused (again). There is also a tab called "proof destination" in the color management window. Two thing about this:

    i) in the knowledge base is reads that this is the profile that gets embedded in the tiff or jpg file.

ii) In my CaptureOne LE programme I cannot operate this tab because it seems to be switched off (it is 'gray'). Why is this, and can I switch it back on?

    Thnaks,

    Bas,

One of the limitations of LE is 1 file type output at a time. (PRO is 3).
The Proof Destination is a remnant of the PRO and it does not work.
Your 2 choices for Color Management are Destination and Web for output.
Choices then at Process tab are: Destination, Web, Grayscale, embed camera
You can also use the QuickProof algroithm built for speed under Collection pulldown.

You will set the color space you want to adjust images with in the Output Destination ( Working Space), and this is the profile that the Thumbnails and Previews will be displayed in. It is a soft proofing of sorts.
*** if you are working on Web images set to sRGB, then Output Destination ( working space) should be set to sRGB as well.

If Destination is set to Adobe RGB, and at the Process Tab when you set Convert to Destination, then this is the color profile that will be embedded in the resultant TIFF or JPEG image file.

    Regards,
    KC
