Feature request: Keep viewport when deleting images
Hey everyone
I don't know whether this is the right channel for this: I'd like to suggest a small change to C1. I often do action-shots in near darkness. Which means I shoot everything a couple times - and usually only 1 out of 5 images are as sharp as I want them to be. I do this by opening each image, zooming in and immediately deleting it if it's not sharp.
Currently C1 resets the viewport and zoom level to "Fit" when deleting images. It doesn't do this when switching between images. If it kept the viewport and zoom level when deleting images (and thereby implicitly switching to the next image) that would make my workflow quite a bit faster.
Thanks for your time and have a nice weekend,
Simon

Hi Simon,
You may want to raise a ticket for this suggestion as that is the advised and preferred route to register ideas (and many other things) with the Capture One Management team.
Nominally this forum is a User to User facility. That some C1 staffers also participate in some situations is a benefit but not a guarantee that an idea will be progressed. though would guess if it obtained massive support it might well be adopted as a future development project.
Meanwhile, if your zoom is to 100%, you might consider the Loupe tool (P) which works with both the main image and the browser window thumbnail and may get you closer to what you need right now even if not exactly where you want to be.
