Hi - I also shoot D200 and D2X and have so far (not yet installed 3.7.6) found the D2x profile much better than the D200.

I get magenta casts on the D200 and the white balance wizard is WAY off in comparison to the D2x.

WHere did you get your camera profiles done as I might look into this if 3.7.6 is the same.

    Hi sjedwardz,

I sent mine to rawworkflow.com located in New Jersey.

Curious to know if you are using the auto balance on the D200 with the issues
you are having. I tried one after you posted and ended up having the same thing.
But when I use my whibal or macbeth card to set the white balance it's perfect
on the D200.. Using the whibal or macbeth card on the D2X with the default profile produces a green cast on skin everytime.

Hi - I set the D200 to a specific value normally about 5000 or 5300. If I use white balance wizard in C1 most ot the time its way off.

Haven't tried setting camera to AUTO - I might give it a try.

I find that even using a whibal with D2x it comes out a bit too yellow.

What is most important in color management is to get consistent color results with your workflow. All the tools and capabilities to do this are within Capture One and especially so with the PRO version.

    Options are to:
1- Use the Generic Profile in Capture One
2- Adjust the Generic Profile using the Color Editor of Capture One PRO
    3- Purchase a 3rd party profile
4- Hire consultant to custom calibrate your camera/s

Lance, you are somewhat correct in that a higher priority is given for our Digital Backs, but again, with the capabilities of the program, getting good consistent color is possible. Additional profile are often created for updates when there is a real problem with the generic, i.e. portrait or sunset profiles.
No, the Color Editor will not create a Custom Camera Profile for your specific camera, However, in about 5 minutes I was able to create an Adjusted D2x generic profile to become Warmer with pleasing fleshtones.
Once created, you can set this new adjusted profile as your default in Color Management settings.
You can also create and save a WB or a Curve to be used again and again.

    Cheers,
    k c
