Are you running Express, Pro or DB mode?

Which camera and file type have you loaded?

I would start with restoring the workspace: Window menu > Workspace > Default, or whatever your workspace is).

Next, the Color Editor tool is quite large. Sometimes there is not enough space in the tool tab. This depends on the screen resolution. A workaround is to open the tool as floating tool: Window menu > Create Floating Tool > Color Editor
Another workaround is to create a new tool tab (View menu > Add Tool Tab > Custom Tool Tab) and add the Color Editor to that new tool tab (View menu > Add Tool to ... Tab)

    Thanks SFA and Paul.
It is pro. I have restored the workspace and there is no change.

I have moved the color editor tab to the top of the color menu and it does not open (the editor, not the menu). I have created a floating tool with the color editor and it opens. But I do not have the editor in the color menu (it is: yes, the color editor is in the menu, but do not expands).
If I move the floating color editor to a position under the high of the color menu color editor, the floating expands, so I think it is not a problem of the length...

    Hello Bob,

This information may help about the error message.

    viewtopic.php?p=68462#p68462

For the Colour editor not opening - if you are seeing the same result as the earlier poster then I think it is a scaling issue with the size of the colour editor window compared to the over all size of your screen window AND the resolution of your screen. I have seen the effect before, sometimes with other windows. Especially if using a customised tool tab with many of tools.

It is not the end of the world - C1 is very customisable so it is easy to work around the challenge. If it is something that happens a lot for you in your work flow just create your own Workspace that suits your needs and overcomes the GUI design constraints. Doing that may be a better solution for you anyway - just choose the tools you want to use in the groupings that are most useful to you. If it is still a challenge to mahke the screen you would like then float the tool when you need it. That should work for most uses.

    I hope this helps.

    Thank you...
    I'll make tests !
....But the config on my screens is exactly the same in the trial version one month ago and in this last version I bought last weeek.

And I also see that I have no trouble with the tab for the colour balance, which has the same size.

I already saw the topic about japaneese messages !
I really believd, there was no real "user test" before the release : these problems are basic ones. The are easy to discover.
    No ?

    YEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEES !

Color tab expands, when the space is much larger.
It seems to have a change, because one month ago,I was not obliged to use the tab on my second srceen. It's not easy to manage !
So, I just have to learn japaneese. What a nice day !

    Bob,

With C1 you have complete control over which tools appear in which tabs. You can also make your own tabs and your own Workspaces. Even your own Keyboard Shortcuts.

You may find that a personal tab with your most used tools works best for you - but always be ready to adapt it and change the content as your needs change or grow.

    HTH.

If you use two monitors, closing the toolbar on one might help.

I have my thumbnails and palettes on one screen (17") and the image viewer on another (24"). The image viewer window shows the toolbar and I only need the toolbar there..

On the window (17") that has the tool palettes and thumbnails I made the toolbar not show. I don't use it on this screen, anyway. This gave me enough room for the color tab to open. The 17" monitor just isn't tall enough / doesn't have enough vertical resolution, otherwise.

As with other suggestions, I could have created another too tab for the color editor. But I wanted the color editor to still be visible on the Adjustments tab with the other things I can do on layers.
