how can i turn on GL with an ati hd 5000

    I don't see the card in the list (viewtopic.php?f=41&p=47460#p47460) of supported cards but you already are aware (hence you asked for a tweak) of that?

    well, IMHO there are precious few specs stated on CL, whereas GL has readily available versions. I doubt that CL changes much over time, whereas GL is a moving target. I have found improvement in both Adobe and PhaseOne products as GL is incremented, so I think it's implemented and important.

    ...so not so much confused as thinking that CL as a language is enhanced/implemented by GL as a function...I THINK they are integrated, at least that's the model I'm operating under.

    ...this is my uninformed IMHO only, I'm listening...
