Leaf Aptus will not mount to 7.1.1 with new 10.8.2 update
Morning everyone!
I've just updated my Mountain Lion OS X to 10.8.2 (12C60 build) and my Leaf Aptus II-6 is no longer seen by my Capture 7.1.1. Up until this point I have had no issues with my back, the capture program, or the OS. My back is still powering up (via the FW800 cable) but it just won't mount to 7.1.1. I, of course, have tried multiple 800 cables with no luck.
Anyone in this same boat? Any advice?
Best,
nathan

I would install the Leaf drivers again (Capture One menu) and check the Preferences > Capture tab > Leaf Configuration > Camera -1 -
I will give it a go and get back to you. Thanks! 0 -
"Drivers are already installed"...can I uninstall and then install again?
Maybe I should uninstall C1 and then install again...with the hopes that I can install the Leaf drivers again.0 -

I should go for it, it never hurts. It is not necessary the Leaf drivers. Sometimes an application benefits from re-installation after an OS X update.
Checked camera configuration in CO7 preferences as suggested?0 -
Well, I went with the complete uninstall and reinstall of 7.1.1.
I followed everything step by step (https://captureintegration.com/how-to-c ... 10-7-10-8/)
Unfortunately, it did not work. In fact, it still says that the Leaf drivers are already installed. I have no idea how that is possible. Ugh.
Ok, I tried again...this time I removed the Leaf camera from the list of registered products and then deleted and reinstalled C1 again. This time around, the back was not listed as a registered camera (nor as an unregistered). I got excited...to no avail...AND the Leaf drivers are still installed.
I wonder if this is a product of my computer being an iMac from 2008...0 -
Make sure the camera body you are using is the same as what is under the camera tab in C1 preferences. 0 -
Yes, the camera body is correct. However, since it's just a digital back, how would it know (or why would it care) what the body is? I'm using a 503CW and have also used this back on a 500c/m. I thought that setting was more for the metadata (at least in my case). If you have a electronic body, then I can see where it matters. Anyway, just curious. 0 -
It only matters that the camera type is correct. Different camera bodies use different timings. Maybe try setting up the camera/back with a cf card then try tethering. I have seen this behaviour before and its been the back was set to the wrong camera set up. 0
