Anyway to create a shortcut for sync / apply?

Does anyone know if it's possible to create a shortcut for the sync / apply levels function in C1 LE? How about programming an x-key pad or a Wacom mouse? Any solution at all?

This is such an important function! I sure love my C1 by some of the basic software oversights are really rough.
