Cache folders

What's with all the cache folders all over the place? Version 3.x didn't do this if I recall. Is there a setting to delete the cache folders upon exit?

  No there isn't. This is one of the 5 or 6 major gripes with v4. Have a look at the dozens of other posts on this subject over the last few months.

  No, the issue you mention was brought up with others during the beta phase, but we still have had no response from PO about the likliehood of these (fairly trivial) v3 facilities being put into v4.

  Last month I did the following feature request:
  *Preview file maintenance (clean up .cop files easily at will)
  
  And received the following reply:
  *We are currently reviewing and discussing this feature and whether and how it could be implemented
  
  I expect new developments in CO4 with the arrival of CO4 Pro/DB. Let's see what that brings. I considered a VB scripts or a batch job myself to solve this in the mean time. Need time for that to do (I am not that kind of wizz kid, you know 😂 )

  Paul,
  PO have been saying that they are 'reviewing and discussing' that feature (and others) since during the beta phase.
  There has been no confirmation over many months now that any of the features from v3LE that have been asked for will be implemented into v4, and I mean the current version, i.e. LE equivalent.
