Deleting Keywords
Hi,
I am having a problem deleting keywords. Most of them delete without error, but a few will prompt me a dialog saying "The action cannot be applied to any of the selected items". I don't have any items selected. When I create a smart filter using keyword contains [the-keyword] there are 0 results. So is there another way to remove a keyword?
Thanks, Jim

I solved my problem.
Keywords associated with photos can't be deleted - makes sense.
BUT
if a photo is inside the "catalog trash" is still associated with a keyword you will get that unhelpful msg. You think CP would strip keywords from photos before putting in the "trash".
Once I emptied the trash the suspect keyword easily deleted with out any confusing message prompt.0 -

... but the point of having a trash folder as an alternative to immediate and complete deletion is that things you have deleted by mistake can be recovered. If you needed to do that it would be preferable for the image to be recovered with all its attributes including ratings, adjustments and keywords, wouldn't it?
