Keyboard shortcut for new layer mask?

Hi,

Is it possible to do this? I am using a Wacom Intuos tablet and would like to add a touch pad shortcut on the Intuos to create a new layer for drawing/erasing mask tool without having to go to the local adjustments window. Thanks.

  There no definable shortcut assignable to add new layer in C1 - so this is a great feature to add.
  
  But as workaround you can toggle to brush by pressing B on keyboard.
  And then drawing something by brush will automatically create adjustment layer and make it selected.
  
  But that works only for first layer.
  
  BTW - a nice feature to have control over layers with shortcuts. I never though how useful it can be.
