C 4.5 crash???

    I was hoping to avoid 10.5 since I hear that C1Pro 3.7.9 doesn't run properly in that OS. I still have clients who prefer to see the old, more user friendly platform of 3.7.9. Do you have any evidence that 3.7.9 will still work as well?

    CO 3.7.9 Pro works fine in 10.5.x. The problem with CO 3.7.x and Leopard was solved from 3.7.8 onwards.

    Please read the release notes that are associated with each version of the software. These will outline any known issues as well as system requirements.
    Capture One 3.7.8 was released to remedy the issues associated with the Leopard Operating system, if you believe there to be specific issues regarding the Operating System you can bring those concerns to the attention of the Support department by creating a case.
    The release notes for Capture One 4.5/Mac outline

    Apple® Macintosh®:
    • Intel-based Macs
    • 1 GB of RAM (2 GB when working with digital backs)
    • 10 GB of free hard disk space
    • Calibrated color monitor with 1280 x 800, 24 bit resolution at 96dpi screen ruling
    • Mac OS X 10.5.5 or later

    If these system requirements are met and there remains an issue please contact support.
