Export images from Session to catalog

I had this recently when I went away on a trip; I used sessions and imported them to my catalogue on return.

In Capture One select File > Import Session

Once imported I then removed the session from my computer quite safely.

    I hope this helps?

And is it possible to do the reverse, i.e. importing images from (referenced) catalog, and with their adjustments, to sessions ?
    Thanks,
    Robert

I'm pretty sure you can only import sessions to catalogues & not the reverse way.

It's not something I use but surely you can make use of the Export > Originals feature?

When doing so you have the option to include existing adjustments (or make the exports EIP files) and specify where they are to go. That should, I would have thought, make a good basis for a session concept.

    Have I missed something?

Is it a feature not available when using a Mac?
